Our Services

Treating dental problems as soon as they are discovered allows you to save tooth structure and reduce your lifetime dental costs. If you believe you have a cavity in one of your teeth, we recommend scheduling an appointment as soon as possible.

You may have tooth decay if:

✔  When you bite down, you feel uneasy.

✔  A sharp pain emanating from a single tooth

✔  A visible blemish or discoloration

✔  You can feel a rough area.

Dental fillings are a procedure that we perform several times per day. They are quite predictable to complete as a routine procedure. To ensure your comfort, we will use local anaesthetic to numb the tooth and the area around it so that you feel no more than a light pressure. The decayed portion of the tooth is then removed.

The void will then be smoothed out and a bonding agent will be applied to help create a tight seal with the composite. Finally, the filling material is shaped and cured under UV light. You must refrain from eating on that side of your mouth until the anaesthetic wears off (usually within a few hours).

A little bit of information:

Why Do I Need X-rays?

Digital radiography allows us to see areas throughout your mouth that aren’t visible during a regular exam. Small cavities, cysts, bone loss and abscesses are just a few examples. Fortunately, today’s technology uses as much as 90% less radiation as conventional dental X-rays, making them safer than ever.

Since digital imaging is instantly available, you’ll enjoy a more efficient appointment and be able to co-diagnose your condition alongside our dentists.
